ADELANTE PREPARATORY ACADEMY

This ground-up development for a public charter school owner & operator consists of instructional classrooms, administrative office spaces, surface parking, and outdoor play areas.  The City of San Diego Planning Department requires a discretionary Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for educational facilities over a specific enrollment quantity.  The project was strategically delivered in two (2) phases so a portion of classrooms could be constructed earlier by-right under a separate building permit and be utilitzed for instruction upon initial delivery.  After obtaining the CUP and final building permit approvals, the balance of the project scope could be constructed, and the building could be fully occupied by all students and staff.  The project was successfully delivered on time and under budget.
