IGNITE ACADEMY

This ground-up development for a public charter school owner & operator consists of instructional classrooms, administrative office spaces, subterranean parking, outdoor play areas, and extensive offsite & utility improvements.  The project required a discretionary Conditional Use Permit (CUP).  Despite public support, local labor unions illicitly challenged the project.  Working with land use attorneys and community organizations helped to secure the necessary CUP approval from Los Angeles County’s Department of Regional Planning (DRP) & Public Works (DPW).  The project was successfully delivered under budget.
