SCHOLAR ACADEMY

This ground-up development for a public charter school owner & operator consists of instructional classrooms, administrative office spaces, subterranean parking, and extensive offsite & utility improvements.  The project required a discretionary Conditional Use Permit (CUP) from Los Angeles City Planning.  Despite public support, local labor unions illicitly challenged the project.  Working with community organizations, the local disctrict's neighborhood council, and elected officials, helped to secure the necessary CUP approval from the Los Angeles City Council’s Planning and Land Use Management Committee (PLUM).  The project was successfully delivered on time and under budget.
