RAINIER VALLEY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

This ground-up development for a public charter school operator consists of instructional classrooms, administrative office space, surface parking, recreational areas, and extensive offsite & utility improvements.  The project required obtaining a discretionary Master Use Permit (MUP) from the Seattle Department of Construction & Inspections. Localized areas of impacted soil and multiple subgrade storage tanks were contained and exported for remediation to state environmental standards.  Despite unforeseen geotechnical conditions and inclement PNW weather, the project was successfully delivered to the client’s specifications.
